70th anniversary SPAC convention expands offerings

The 70th anniversary SPAC convention kicks off on Jan. 22, 2025, offering four days of education and networking. The sold-out trade show features more than 90 companies serving the volume photography marketplace. The conference program features more than 50 hours of education, in addition to two days of dedicated tradeshow time.

There are numerous enhancements to the education program, where a “Wednesday Workflow Walk Through” section where attendees can see examples of capture, lighting, camera and backdrop options.

The conference keynote speaker, Thursday, Jan. 23, features Rory Kramer, American photographer and filmmaker, and Canon ambassador. The SPAC 70th Anniversary celebration will be that evening, reflecting on how the industry has changed and how SPAC community has grown.

The event has two pre-event events on Tuesday, Jan. 21: A Valley of Fire Excursion including a charter bus, lunch, and a speaker presenting with live models.  There is also a golf experience at Atomic Golf.

For the seventh straight year, the conference has sold out of its room allotment at the South Point Casino and Resort. Those still wishing to attend can reserve a room at its nearby timeshare property, the Grandview Resort. Only one-bedroom apartments are available.
